River Oaks Elementary School

Been to that school for 3 years now and it was the second best school I've ever been to

My child has been going to this school for the past 3 years and I am absolutely disappointed. This is by far the worse school. First incident...My oldest child sprained his finger during gym and when he asked the teacher to go to the nurse, the teacher told him to let the swelling go down and he'll be ok. So needless to say when my son came home and he told me, I ran to urgi care and sure enough it was sprained. Not to mention they lost my child twice already. And then on the first day of school this year.. I got off work early to go to school and speak with his teachers. They tell me I have to wait til kids get dismissed. I told them I was going to drive my son home instead of him riding the bus since I was at the school. They tell me that they were going to get him to stay in the class. So after waiting 30 minutes in the office, I seen that all the buses were loaded and kids were coming to cafeteria for car rides, I asked the lady when I was going to see the teacher and get my son. They gave me a dumbfounded look and then called the teacher. Apparently they forgot to call the class and the teacher was never aware. So needless to say, my son was put on the bus and I had leave and go home so I wouldn't miss my son getting off the bus. There's plenty more stuff but I'll just keep it at that right now.

River Oaks is a fabulous facility with genuine teachers, administrators, and staff. The school really cares about the students and helping them to grow.
