The Pioneer Bakery Cafe

Fantastic bakery in downtown Kirkwood. Beautiful inside with lots of space. Many delicious options. I wanted something light so I got the bacon, egg, and cheese brioche. Very good! The staff was very friendly and I was happy to learn that any tips they make are donated to helping people with developmental disabilities find employment – a most noble cause.

I can't share my experience. Because I haven't been there. But I'm sharing the AMAZING Experience of what I just saw on the Today Show ! Derek and the other Staff are getting the opportunity to help themselves and have a relationship outside of there family. Thank You to the Pioneer Bakery Owners for giving these Wonderful People the chance at having a full life !!! Derek You Are A Star !!!

Delicious breakfast sandwich. Chocolate donut was a bit dry. Would visit again, lovely atmosphere!

What a wonderful little bakery with an amazing mission. The staff was so friendly and gave us a little tour of all of their goodies. We couldn't pick just one thing! They have breakfast and lunch items, as well as a full coffee bar. The treats are amazing...and don't forget to pick up a loaf of bread to go with dinner. Love being able to support a local bakery with such kind staff who truly have a heart for what they do. Thank you!!
