Einstein Bros. Bagels

Staff here is great. Bagels are awesome. Only 4 star is due to their new hours. We start work at 6am (I'm in office around 530am), I used to be able to grab a bagel prior to 6am.

Bought 7 Baker dozen with 2 hour notice..all were perfect and the cream cheese is also Best anywhere! Really good service and staff. They do were masks and social distance. Although they were pretty busy..they were fully ready and quick service!. We drove over 2 hours each way and it was WELL worth it..wish an Einstein bagels would come to Mount Vernon Illinois.

I placed an order using my birthday reward (a free sandwich with any purchase) through the app today, and I was expecting two sandwiches (including the free one) for my order, but on the way home, we realized only the sandwich that we paid was in the bag. We went back to the store and tried to sort things out. It turned out that I didn't use the reward correctly, so it didn't get redeemed. I thought the reward description was very confusing, and I got very frustrated with the whole situation since I had to make another purchase in order to redeem the reward. However, the employee kept his cool, and while he was suggesting me to purchase something cheap like a cookie in order to get the free sandwich, a kind elderly gentleman handed me a piece of the pre-packaged cookies! That just made me smiled. I felt so sorry for the employee who had to deal with my attitude, and an act of kindness can really change the situation. :)

Their breakfast sandwiches are great love this place
