Slagle Cemetery

This cemetery is a disgrace! My father was laid to rest there five weeks ago, as was another gentleman on the same day. Grass and weeds were tall and hadn't been mowed in quite some time. Another service there this week and the weeds were over a foot tall. Where are all the donations going? Apparently not for the upkeep of the cemetery, which is what the donations are intended for. Beyond inexcusable to disrespect the deceased in this manner. If my father's monument had not been placed there years ago, my family would not allow him to spend eternity in this place!

I recently attended two services at Slagle in the last month.nI was shocked at the condition of this cemetery, not carefully mowed and couldn’t have been trimmed this year.nWeeds were covering monuments and several monuments had damage.nI have a long ancestral history there and would hope that someone in charge will take notice and use the donations more wisely.
