KC Music Academy

KC Music is a fantastic place to learn to play an instrument. Mark Ballard, the owner, has been teaching music in Kansas City for decades. Mark and his staff did a wonderful job teaching me how to play the guitar, and I'm very thankful to have such a fun hobby! The student showcases/performances are awesome too! Keep up the good work!

Experience on the retail side of things is always a pleasure, the owner often goes out of his way to help me out. Great place, if the owner is any indication then I imagine his teaching staff are good too.nTheir new location is awesome, and they keep some gorgeous guitars for sale in addition to accessories.

KC Music has been wonderful in every aspect for lessons and instrument rentals. My family has always appreciated the personal treatment and individual attention that comes from Mark Ballard and his excellent staff (Freddy, you're the best!) My daughter is going into her 3rd school year with a violin from KC Music, and she still has classmates claiming it's the best looking violin. Keep up the great work, KC Music! We will be back!
