Inn at Perry Cabin

A glorious stay. Waking each morning to a view over the water. A first class restaurant, activities akimbo and a warm and generous staff. We shall remember our first trip to Inn at Perry Cabin for years to come. *dog friendly too!

My fiancé and I were so impressed with this hotel. From the moment we entered the property the staff was wonderful! Our room and view were amazing. The Stars restaurant was great as well!

Where do I begin? First, this place offers guests a great facility and staff. Almost all views see the Chesapeake Bay. There are tons of great lounge spaces. And during the summer, there is an awesome pool. I was there in February, but I will definitely be back in July to check that out. The manager I talked to (Eva) was amazing and incredibly helpful. She personally showed me around the hotel. You can tell that they really want you to enjoy your time at the Inn and visit again. All of the staff has great pride in the hotel, and it's deserved. Another staff member (Doug) ran the activities for guests. He was also incredible. He ran a cookie decorating class for our two daughters. Then he even dropped off some small gift bags for them, containing some coloring books, toys, and a child's cup. Really above and beyond. The kids had a great time. Staff is #1.nnI could write a book here, but I'll keep it short. The food is excellent. We ate at the more upscale Stars Restaurant as well as the Pub. I don't think we had any meals off the property while we were there; it was just so delicious and easy. The Stars Restaurant is a bit more pricy, but the quality of the food and the presentation makes it worth it. I would recommend checking out Stars for at least one meal. We took our daughters there (2 and 5 years old), they enjoyed the food and the ambiance. Kids are allowed. The town of St. Michaels is less than a half-mile away, so you can always walk to the main strip if you want some food variety. It's a really nice stroll in the evenings.nnThe rooms are immaculate and well laid out. Very comfortable. The hotel provides all kinds of classes and activities for adults and kids. Honestly, we just had a really great time there. And I give it my highest recommendation to all of you reading this. You can save some money (perhaps) by going to a resort whose price-point is lower, but the drop-off in quality will make you wish you came to the Inn at Perry Cabin.nnIt a great alternative to the Jersey Shore or Ocean City Maryland, for those that want a more relaxed and refined vacation experience. It's family-friendly, but I wouldn't characterize it as a place with tons of kids. So, couples will definitely still enjoy it.nn- Anthony D.

Beautiful location, tremendous rooms, average service. It really pains me to rate service as only average. When you pay top dollar you expect top service. We had 2 meals at The Inn. First was breakfast where we waited for our food for 25 minutes. When it arrived it was a food auction as there was no clue among servers as to who got what. They were also out of an item on the menu.nI made dinner reservations a month in advance for outside at their top restaurant. The restaurant called me twice to confirm our reservation a week in advance and a day in advance outside and asked if we would like a heater. I checked the day of the reservation around 5p and was told we were all set. We arrived at 6:25 for our 6:30 reservation. We were told outside was not available. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary so I asked to speak to the manager. He came over apologized but said outside was full and it was 1st come 1st served. I told him we arrived at 6:25 and there are 2 tables outside empty so here we are 1st one, so please seat us. He said table both tables were reserved for a wedding group who was previewing for a possible wedding. Apparently they had stronger reservation than we did $$$. After more discussion he reluctantly told us to hold on he would see what he could do. 5 minutes later he came back and said they were setting up another table for us and we could sit outside. We were seated near a heater. When we asked for it to be turned on we were told it was broken. We had a nice meal though it was another food auction.nOn a positive note the INN did give us upon arrival a voucher for 2 free cocktails to celebrate our anniversary. Shawanna (probably misspelled) did a great job tending bar at the Pub.

The inn at Perry cabin is a delightfully luxurious and comfortable resort. The staff is outstanding, very kind and well attuned to your needs. The accommodations in the room were top notch including the giant bath towel sheets as well as all of the comfortable furniture and beautiful settings. Our first floor room had a beautiful patio area outside where we could enjoy our waterfront view. Their professional valet service, as well as car service for town visits all make your stay all the better. Wonderful tennis courts, swimming pool and of course boats make for a wonderful vacation setting.
