Nautical Nails

Stopped in to get a pedicure. They have great measures in place due to covid which was good to see. The lady who did my pedicure though was not at all friendly and when I complained the water was too hot she argued with me telling me it wasn't and that it was only because I had just come in from the cold. She did adjust the water though and did a nice pedicure but not one word from her the whole time. With so many other salons I wouldn't go back to that one.

While not my go-to place for a pedicure, I have visited on occasion through the years for a spontaneous and affordable option. After today I doubt I will return. I usually see one of the two women that are usually working, but today it was a male. The water was so hot that it burned my feet, then I was cut with the nippers (ouch!) and lastly he scrubbed so hard with the pumice type sponge that it took my skin off and made me bleed (double ouch!) Unfortunately I didn’t realize the damage to the side of my big toe from the harsh scrubbing until I got home. The only positive was a longer massage than I normally receive here. When I went to pay I was told their prices increased by $5 because of covid which I understand but it was not disclosed beforehand or advertised on the window with their prices. Proceed with caution and if you go, insist on seeing one of the women.

So happy to see them again! They have many new procedures in place that made me feel safe. Thank you Jenny and Mindy for caring about the welfare of your customers! And pampering us!

Mindy and Jenny are professional and and very considerate. They use all quality products and the salon is clean and organized. The manicures, special services, and pedicures are relaxing and complete. They stay on schedule and provide you with a focused treatment every time. I have been a client there for over 8 years and highly recommend them.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND COVID -19 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS ARE OVER THE TOP. Just went this am and very pleased!!
