La Cure Nails

I have gone here a few times and service has been decent for the most part, I decided to switch from my prior nail salon and went to La Cure. The first time I went they advised me their credit card machine wasn’t working which was fine I came prepared. The next time I made an appointment no one said anything about the credit card machine still being out of order but I saw the sign was still up so I asked because I wasn’t advised to prepare with a different payment method other then my card, that day they used my card but wanted to keep it hush hush, I saw them turn down credit cards from people that tried to pay with credit/debit cards. So I now know their credit card machine isn’t out of order but they’re not willing to use it. Today I tried to make an appointment and they said again that their machine is down, I made mention that they had told me that at my last appointment but used my card so nothing is out of order or broken. I told them to forget the appointment, the customer service is very poor if you’re feeding lies to your customers when in the world we live in a lot of people use credit/debit cards as a method of payment. Very poor experience.

Was looking for a new salon near me... As soon as I walked in and started inquiring about what kind of work they do (as in) designs or anything other than regular nail polish. The answers were very rushed and (no) was basically all they had to say to everything I asked. And then I noticed the prices were really high for such basic work. Definitely was turned off by their people skills. Didn’t even give them a chance to screw my nails up.... Just turned right back around and never looked back!

I do prefer some employees vs another, but I almost always walk away happy. As a straight-cis male, I go there to get my toenails clipped specifically for the work they are willing to do on my ingrown toenail on my big toes. They know how to cut into the edge and clip to prevent future pain to the next appointment.

I will absolutely never waste my money here again, I've never received what should've been a pedicure like that in my life.

Went there this evening to get a pedicure....nails trimmed, completely uneven, did not file, did not push cuticles back, did not clean around or under the toe nail. Polish did not cover all the toe nail. I had one redone and felt like that was asking to much. I came home and had to repaint my toes after paying $40 for a horrible service. I will never use them again and will tell others to avoid this place.
