This police department not only treats victims horribly , but they seem to be very aggressive , rude, and on a power trip . People with disabilities are allowed under federal law to request accomadations during Police interaction . These cops not only have no clue about violations of the ADA . But disabled victims requesting accommodations get treated horribly and are verbally abused both in person and by phone. Asking for accommodations also I guess delays them doing a proper investigation and arresting a teen who beat a disabled mother who was standing in front of her child to protect her who already has a brain injury .

My son was in the hospital in ICU for two weeks. During that time he failed to appear in court on a ticket. Ten minutes after he was released from the hospital they, on the way to the pharmacy to get his medications, picked him up (calling in four officers to do so, for what reason I couldn’t even guess. Maybe they were bored and needed something to do. He’s not in any way a dangerous felon, it was a ticket!). He had to stay the weekend, because no judges til Monday I guess and here it is 5:30 Monday evening and they still don’t seem to know when anyone is going to let him go! No idea what’s going on! What are they doing up there in Cecil County? Is anyone running the show? Two weeks in ICU with a condition that has a 70% mortality rate and he’s going through this for failure to appear on a TICKET while he was fighting for his life! How in God’s name do they get a 5 rating? From the short conversation I had with them on the phone they were extremely rude and, from what I can tell, incompetent.
