MVA - Elkton

I had an appointment for the Real ID and that process would have been quick here. I ran into an issue with proving my MD residency because I am active duty military living in another state. This particular location did not know how to handle military personnel. The MVA website lacks informative on the additional materials, military living out of state, need to bring. Thankfully I was able to use my car insurance and proof of car registration to complete the process and get a Real ID. The staff was not rude during this process.

Today was the first time in my life going to the Elkton DMV and not leaving in tears!! I made a appointment! Not only did we get our tags renewed and name change on my title and reprinted one but it only took a total of 10minutes! Yes people no lines...no crowds...and I think that makes the clerks there happier as well!! The one we had today was super awesome!! Made me feel at ease with the process! Wish i knew her name because she was awesome!! Id tell her thank you again for today!! So the key is to make a appointment!!

I’ve never experienced such great customer service in a DMV. Everyone was nice, helpful and very organized. Very little wait time for my grandson to take his drivers test. Well worth the distance and time to be treated so well.

My experience at MVA Elkton today was excellent. My wait was short, everyone that I interfaced with was kind and professional. Quite pleasant I would say...

The staff was very polite and diligent. All services at MVA in Elkton are by appointment only. (However some services can be done online.) They were on schedule down to the minute! No wait time at all.
