I always go to Penlands.
Good variety and quality
Great apple house to stop at while in ellijay. Yummy ice cream and lots of fresh apples, and locally canned items like salsas and such.
Lots of goodies besides apples like fresh bakery items, chocolate, pickles, relish, regular & sugar-free candy selections, toys, gift items, gift baskets......
I really love the place but the lady making fudge and the lady making the appel pies were nasty and rude. It was 550 and the lady making fudge said she was closed and already put everything away. Then i asked her what time she closed she said 6.nI said its not 6 yet.nShe rudely said im closed.nI said can i have whatever fudge you put away. She said my register is closed.nThe appel pie lady said the same thing and she had left over pies too. I said i dont even care if its hot i just want one. She would not sell me anything either. I got some appels and appel butter and left. The appels are the best in town.
