When you call at 5:40 and you’re told the store will open at 6:15, because you are CRAVING vegan gluten free donuts, you are will drive and wait 30 minutes for AMAZING DONUTS. When 30 minutes turns into 45 because you hope against all hope that waiting will bring you closer to set donuts and supporting a locally owned shop, you frustratedly turn on your car and head home. Maybe I’ll try again...in two years, but not anytime soon.
CALL AHEAD. Having an amazing experience here started with a 5 second phone call to make sure they had donuts. Every 1 star review could've been avoided by taking the minute to call.nnMore applicably, these are the greatest donuts I have ever tasted. I tried a banana, strawberry, and cinnamon variety. They were all flawless. I also got a ginger juice with aloe and lime. It was lightly carbonated, with a level of ginger flavor that is unmatched. I left incredibly happy.nnI went with my girlfriend and we agreed that they were some of the friendliest and kindest people we've come across on our trip to Atlanta, and the vibe of the shop was immaculate ;). Loved everything and thank you for what you do!
Called TWICE to confirm if they were open was given two different times each call. When I came they were closed and when I called a third time they said they would be in by 6:30. No one ever came. I wasted my time and gas to try these supposed “great” donuts but apparently the owners can’t be bothered to show up to their own business. As a black man it’s disappointing when you want to support black businesses and they lack professionalism and consideration for their customers. The atmosphere here is so chill, it’s a black owned vegan spot AND the guy is very chill and his prices aren’t bad at all for IMPECCABLE quality VEGAN donuts!!ud83dudc99ud83dudc99
OMG!!! The BEST DOUGHNUTS EVER!!!! They're so MOIST and has a little CRISPY bite to them. I tried the Madagascar Vanilla and the Orange Lemon Ginger.....THE BOMBud83eudde8!
