Sunrise Moving & Storage

This was our first experience hiring a moving company. We had always moved ourselves. Chelsea made our move an enjoyable experience with constant communication and honest evaluation of costs. Rob was amazing and professional. His crew were courteous and respectful of our belongings. Everything was wrapped and loaded with no damage whatsoever. When they arrived at our new home they unloaded and assembled all our belongings with care. I don't anticipate moving again,but if I do I, I will call Sunrise Moving.

Charlene and her team were the absolute best! They thoroughly explained the process and the pricing, and packed and unpacked my belongings with the utmost care and efficiency. And Charlene was a great sounding board, talking me through my first big move. I would not hesitate to hire Sunrise Moving & Storage again!

I hope to never move again as we are hoping we just bought a home to last at least the next twenty years, but *IF* we ever need to move again, or if anyone I know moves, I would absolutely recommend Sunrise moving!! I have used other moving services in the past and they have been disorganized and rough on my furniture and walls and always went over estimated time. Sunrise was spot on for estimated delivery and we moved a 6 bedroom/two living room, 3500 sq foot home, and they were reasonably priced to do so as well!! They were very professional and courteous. At one point they had begun working so meticulously I realized they wrapped a cabinet with hidden glass shelves that I had not taken out yet, and they told me they had looked at it before wrapping and took them out! Extremely impressed with their attention of detail! They wrapped EVERYTHING in moving blankets! And when I told my husband there was no way all our furniture would fit within the longest truck I’ve ever seen, again they proved me wrong with their amazing ability to tetris the furniture! I have absolutely nothing I can say I wish they had done better or differently!! They were a blessing for such a stressful time and made transitioning a huge home into a new home within a day possible!! A+++++ business!

Don't move yourself, call Sunrise. Eli and his crew were professional and courteous. They provided a level of organization that we needed and helped make our move a success. To top it all off, they were on time and under budget.

Sunrise Moving & Storage is the best moving company we have ever used and we have moved several times. From our first contact with Chelsea Wilkinson, the Relocation Manager, we knew we were in good hands. She explained the entire process and costs and made sure we had no additional questions before moving on. Because of the Covid virus, the inventory and cost estimate had to be done by Facetime video. Ms. Wilkinson was very professional and friendly as she guided my wife through the house asking appropriate questions as to what we were packing and what we expected them to pack, especially fragile items or those awkward in size. She was very efficient and her final estimates as to weight and cost were extremely accurate. Prior to the move, Ms. Wilkinson called and confirmed the moving date, what time the movers would be at our house and approximately how long it would take. On moving day, the movers arrived on time, identified themselves and immediately got to work. There were five members of the team, led by Rob who confirmed where everything was, the fragile items that needed special packaging and what would be staying. Rob and his crew were all professional and obviously very experienced. Their packing and loading skills were amazing. They sent two trucks to the house, but Rob and his crew packed the first truck with such skill they were able to get everything in the one with only inches to spare saving us the cost of a second truck. We moved from the Mountains of North Georgia to the Augusta, GA area and had everything put into two storage units pending us finding a new home. The day after the move from the mountain home, Rob and two of the movers from the previous day, met me at the storage location. Ms Wilkinson had told us the square footage of storage space we would need and that was exactly the number we had, not an inch more. Rob and his crew got to work immediately and worked together like a well oiled machine. Rob handled packing the storage units while the two crewmen unloaded the truck. The teamwork between the three was amazing to watch. They worked non stop for four hours without any distraction except getting that big truck unloaded and neatly packed into the two storage units. Neatly is the operative word. Both units were packed with precision with nothing tossed in haphazardly or precariously stacked. When all was said and done, both units were filled with a couple of feet to spare. Magnificent job! I'm sorry I did not get the names of Rob's crew at either end of the move but they all need to be commended as well. Everyone of them were professional, skilled and a pleasure to work with. It goes without saying, we would highly recommend Sunrise Moving & Storage to anyone. They made a very stressful situation stress free, which I never thought was possible.
