I live out of state and had Jason record drum parts for several of my songs (thank you, internet). Not only are his recordings fantastic in terms of audio quality, but he was able to read what I was wanting musically for my song and embellished a lot of the not-completely-formed musical ideas I had for each song. HIGHLY recommend, even if you don't live in Utah.
Jason at Art City Sound makes the whole process a piece of cake from beginning to end! His extensive experience allows him to take your music and turn it into an instant success. He is great to work with, and makes you feel like you're recording in your back yard with your best friends. We will definitely do it again!
EASY the BEST recording engineer in UT and the potential to be the best in the world! You can't beat Jason's instincts and ear for ANY genre of music. It's rare to find a producer who can understand a musicians vision without having to explain it. Not only does he have AMAZING quality of studio equipment but he's a very talented drummer. I used his skills on my entire album and found it to fit my music extremely well. As if this wasnt enough reasons to go with Jason, his prices are VERY fair and reasonable. I was able to make an entire commercial quality album for WAY less than I planned on. I will forever be grateful for the time and thought he put into each of my songs.
