I haven't been to a department store for a long time. I have passed through several malls over the couple years, most are dying. Recently, I went to Macy's for a last min. gift. I was so surprised to see the selection of clothes for men and women. Nice quality stuff both casual and business. Prices were great. Great job Macy's.
My favorite department store open, clean, associates in gloves and masks. social distancing and nicely stocked at least on the ground floor. Sanitizers conveniently placed on counters and cool circulating air. Who knew? Perhaps, this is how it should have been all along given that proper hand washing was so rare. So sad to hear about the filing for bankruptcy. Hope the flagship Manhattan store remains.
Stopped in for some last minute shopping with my wife, she loved it. She is a long time fan of the company, I am nit normally impressed with them. This trip was very different, there was a lot of high quality product at what I considered to be very reasonable sale prices. I will make sure that I try again, I feel that I could easily become a Macy's shopper.
