Very Bad & Disgusting Experience!nPlease review our experience and understand the terms and conditions of the store if you are taking your appliance for any repairs. If you are taking a blender/mixer for repair the Total Repair cost is $45; $25 you pay in cash which is non-refundable (irrespective of whether it can be repaired or not). At the very beginning they are very clear that it would take a week for the appliance to be fixed and that they will call you to pick it up and that’s when you pay the remaining balance.nWe bought a Preethi blender in October 2020, which is 110V-120V made for the US market and started using it in December 2020 It was working fine when one evening, while grinding spices, it just stopped. There was no overheating or burnt smell. We referred to the Preethi customer services in the US and one of them recommended A TO Z in Decatur. We went to the store on January 29, 2021 and there was a guy who asked us if it was burnt or overheated & we told him that it’s new. Even he agreed that the blender is new. He took the motor and said that they will call us back, after their technician fixes it. One week passed we didn’t get any call back on the status of repair, so we called and checked. A lady, who owns the shop along with her husband & son (who took the motor from us) answered the phone. She told us that the technician is looking for a part that he had to order as the motor has a manufacturing defect. We were shocked and said that it’s new which even she acknowledged! She was 100% positive that the technician told them it can be fixed. We asked if she knew what part it was and apparently, the technician never reveals what part needs to be replaced. We went to the store after 2 weeks. The lady was in the store and told us not to worry. Again, she did not reveal what part had to changed! But trusted her & thought it is fixable and for some reason there’s delay is shipping. She is a sweet talker & don’t let that fool you! We called back again a week later, and this time she confirmed that the part had arrived & she is expecting the technician to deliver the repaired motor that Thursday or Friday. (Please note that by now it’s 1st week of March!) We waited till Friday & called back. This time the husband answered the phone - oh my god, he is a rude man! He just mentioned the part that ordered was not correct and the technician has re-ordered new part and it will be fixed. By now, we were getting impatient & specially, the way the gentleman spoke, didn’t help! We again called on the following Sunday & again, the gentleman picked the call. He asked us to hold and forgot to mute the phone and was talking to someone in Gujarati. The wife came to the line and said that the motor cannot be fixed & we must call Preethi to complain. We were appalled that after weeks of confirming that it could be fixed, their story changed! Anyways, we went to the store with the receipt & the gentleman brought the motor & just kept saying SIGN HERE on the receipt. He’s such an unprofessional man! We wanted to know if at least now the technician had told what the issue was, but the gentleman didn’t even care to listen or talk to us! He just cared about our signature! While we were persisting on to understand what the technician had to say, the son came to the counter. He told in a very rude way “We don’t get any information from technician, also we don’t care, the contract between the technician and the store is that they give the appliance to the technician to repair, they get a cut, and the technician gets the fee. Their contract stops there that’s it. The store does not ask the technician any other details as it is not their problem.”nIf the store would have told us upfront after a week or two, we would have understood. But there were multiple contradicting stories provided to us by the lady. Now we doubt if the technician even looked at it because it is the easiest way to make $25 by doing nothing. Even if we discount the fact that $25 was gone, it is the 7 weeks of harrowing experience for a simple job.

There is no option for 0 stars. The customer service is horrible. We purchased a cooker from here and the lid busted in heat while making food (which should not happen). We called the day we bought it and the man said they contacted the manufacturer (he lied). The store owner was also very rude, but no worries we have already disputed the charge to the credit card company and I have received a refund already. Stay away from this place, there is another store to the right of patel brothers that has the same things for sale for half the price. Also, see other reviews, almost the same theme. Owner has the same generic response. Hope you run out of business soon.

Awesome selection of all kinds of electronics and household items. Things that you don't always find elsewhere and is very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Great customer service! I have been coming long time and they carry all items for back home. Sometimes understaffed but okay, because small family business and I understand. Prices are good and they answer all my converter questions.
