I’m usually a Home Depot guy myself but somethings are priced better or only available at Lowe’s. I recently purchased a Pit Boss Pellet Smoker from this location. The store associate who helped us was great and very helpful. The issue I had was that when I called to confirm the grill was available, the person on the phone told me that all the available grills of the specific model I was inquiring about were already assembled. When I got to the store, this wasn’t the case, which was alright because they have free assembly. The biggest issue of all was that we were told they’d assemble it for free the next day which was Friday and we would be able to pick it up on Saturday. Saturday came and mid day I called to ask if it had been assemble like I was told it would be on Friday. The girl I spoke to told me that she was the one who rung us up and scheduled the assembly and then told us that there are only two people who assemble grills in the whole store and they only work on Monday and Tuesday. If this is the case then why did she tell us it would be available by Saturday? If we were told from the start that it wouldn’t be ready until Monday or Tuesday, I would have had no problem with that. The store needs to hire or train more people to assemble grills. Aside from this, the usual Lowe’s rules apply here. If you ask anyone for help, they either tell you it’s not their area and you need to ask someone else or they say they’ll help and just walk away. This is why I shop at Home Depot.

Always easy in and out, self checkout saves a lot of time

The one thing I really like about lowes is the friendly atmosphere. The people are great and really helpful and the prices are really competitive. All in all a pretty good shopping experience.
