I will Cc this for both stores in DelandnThe sign on the door says NO one can enter this store without a mask. They acknowledge it is a LEGAL requirement. The cashier had her self 1/2 masked. I mentioned it to her she said “Its fine” I replied “no it’s not”. The other store in Deland again same situation sign in the door. A young man (late teens I think) walking around the store NO MASK. He checked out in front of me. I also noticed he was fooling with his long unkempt hair NO MASK NO GLOVES. He paid with the key pad. I asked the cashier what do you do if someone doesn’t have a mask in reference to the sign. She said “nothing” I refused to touch the key pad he had used. It was not covered or sanitized after each customer including after the young man.nSouth store Debbie Assistant manager claimed she did not have corporates number. She bowed out with I am not the manager you will have to come back. I said NO I am not coming back.nI found Corporate’s email and sent a complaint telling them what stores failed to follow legal guidelines for public safety. They replied that they apologize but since I did not include the Store # they could not address the neglect. The location alone can tell them what stores are involved. Liars!nI live in Florida. I work as contracted Contact Tracer. This state was declared an Epic Center for COVID 19. Dollar Tree doesn’t care. I won’t go in those stores NOT EVEN AFTER pandemic. I would rather pay a BIT more and feel a-LOT SAFER. Besides Walmart, Big Lots and even Winn Dixie compete now with $1.00 items. Dollar Tree don’t be surprised if you have a number of employees get this virus. No telling how many customers you have infected or even killed. There are many elderly that frequent your store. Just Greedy and Selfish.

They have nice single Christmas cards. I also got 4 rolls Christmas wrap. I got some more things too. Enjoyed going today.

I went shopping there tonight with my roommate. And the cashier comes up to my roommate and starts yelling at him about things he had but decided not to purchase. Where is the things you had. Well it was not hard to see just because he was a young black man she was assume he was shop lifting. When he got upset and told her of his unpleasant feelings she told him to leave the store and not come back. They continued to have words. I handed him my keys and ask him to please just wait in the car. So she turns and starts trying to tell me about my friend. Someone she just talk to and I have know for almost a year. It was my first real experience of witnessing a person being called out just for the color of there skin. On a side note just before the lady walked up we was joking with each other how nice it was to be in a store like the dollar tree. That changed real fast.

The cashier was absolutely wonderful, very helpful next stremely friendliennSearch cute Knick knacks for your home unfortunately they didn't have much of a candy selection but that's OK this close to Halloween.
