Dollar Tree

Great selection! I was so excited to see they had Halloween stuff already!! (Thru had Christmas stuff too) don't judge me, but I bought everything and came home and decorated! It's been a Long year, so it brought us joy. We haven't been many places since march so it was nice to see people distancing and wearing masks and bring respectful. Staff was pleasant and store was clean. They even had cleaning stuff provided for the carts.

I will Cc this for both stores in DelandnThe sign on the door says NO one can enter this store without a mask. They acknowledge it is a LEGAL requirement. The cashier had her self 1/2 masked. I mentioned it to her she said “Its fine” I replied “no it’s not”. The other store in Deland again same situation sign in the door. A young man (late teens I think) walking around the store NO MASK. He checked out in front of me. I also noticed he was fooling with his long unkempt hair NO MASK NO GLOVES. He paid with the key pad. I asked the cashier what do you do if someone doesn’t have a mask in reference to the sign. She said “nothing” I refused to touch the key pad he had used. It was not covered or sanitized after each customer including after the young man.nSouth store Debbie Assistant manager claimed she did not have corporates number. She bowed out with I am not the manager you will have to come back. I said NO I am not coming back.nI found Corporate’s email and sent a complaint telling them what stores failed to follow legal guidelines for public safety. They replied that they apologize but since I did not include the Store # they could not address the neglect. The location alone can tell them what stores are involved. Liars!nI live in Florida. I work as contracted Contact Tracer. This state was declared an Epic Center for COVID 19. Dollar Tree doesn’t care. I won’t go in those stores NOT EVEN AFTER pandemic. I would rather pay a BIT more and feel a-LOT SAFER. Besides Walmart, Big Lots and even Winn Dixie compete now with $1.00 items. Dollar Tree don’t be surprised if you have a number of employees get this virus. No telling how many customers you have infected or even killed. There are many elderly that frequent your store. Just Greedy and Selfish.

Good selection but a little disorganized. Staff was what you expect at a Dollar Tree, nothing special. Would NOT inflate balloons brought in (we had speciality ones not available there). That was disappointing.

Good prices on and supplies. Craziest very friendly. Store messy. Good overall.
