One of my favorite places. Items are fresh and so delicious. Go early, they will run out of certain things if you wait too long. But, you can also order some things for a future pick up. Have had majority of treats from here and while a couple have been okay, there haven't been any bombs and most have been outstanding. Seems pricey, but that could be because we buy so much at a time. Plus, it's quality food.

Gwen baked and decorated an AMAZING custom birthday cake for our son. Her attention to detail is impeccable!nnWe also love their fresh pretzels and kringle (donuts too!!)

Warning: This is a posting about bread, not about any other baked goods. I am from Germany, meaning that I am born to be picky about bread. I live in Milwaukee, where I tried practically all local artisan bread and wasn't really pleased by any. So I went to Okauchee to give Baker Meister a shot. It was a huge disappointment. Admittedly, I arrived late in the afternoon, and their selection might have been a greater if I had come earlier. But well... 1. All available bread was sliced like industrially baked bread. 2. All bread was packed in plastic like industrially baked bread (plastic being the natural enemy of crunchiness). 3. None of their bread had a real crust. 4. It's not worth the price. I paid $5.50 for the multi-grain bread that appears to be very popular, but I can get something better than that at a better price at Fresh Thyme in Milwaukee. If you wonder what I consider good bread, go to Madison and buy any loaf from Madison Sourdough or Origin Bread.

Fantastic bakery! Lots of great choices!nDonuts, pastry, pretzels, kringles and desserts.nThey accept credit cards and cash.nThere was one table available inside, but a couple benches outside to sit on if you wanted.
