We are very grateful that we chose Memorial Plan San José Palm Ave. for our mother’s services. All the staff was professional and kind which is exactly what we needed. They were knowledgeable and patient in guiding us through this unknown process. They set up the viewing beautifully for out mother. They were flexible in accommodating to our individual choices. We had a viewing at Memorial Plan Palm Ave followed the next morning by a full mass and then the burial. The only hiccup was that we had both Spanish and English prayer cards and the Spanish ones were printed with a different message than what we had selected but as soon as we alerted the funeral home they immediately printed the cards again with the correct prayer. Barbara was my main point of contact and she did a great job providing fair prices during a very difficult time for me. They were heartwarming, empathic and provide outstanding service. The Services Provided By Stephanie and Funeral Director the night of my youngest brother Viewing was nothing less than Exceptional. The Care they took to make sure everyone was comfortable, and A very professional service was provided with San Jose. The attention to detail made my brother looked perfect. I wish I didn’t have to be writing this but that’s life and we loose it sometimes. We weren’t prepared had nothing ready, certainly not for a 13 year old and thanks to them we couldn’t have felt in better hands.nnHis Funeral started at 4pm for the close relatives and I informed everyone else at 5pm - would end at 12 Midnight so at 11pm I promptly starting advising everyone to start saying saying their goodbyes as it’s difficult to start doing it at 11:57 as the end of the night approaches, and we wanted a bit of extra time with alone.nnEverything went smoothly and the day of his burial. The escort service was ready, the hearse was ready the director was ready, it seem that the only person not ready was my Dad which we couldn’t find for a while. Turns out we were looking for each other around the building. Everything was on time and perfect until my brother was laid to rest and their services were over.nnI highly recommend if you’re looking for that service that nobody wants to look for cause it’s tough, to go and see the guys there at San Jose Memorial Plan. You’ll get a really great service and a Memorial you’ll always remember.

This is a nice, quiet place to hold your loved one's funeral. They give you several hours and a large private space at a reasonable price. We had my mother's viewing and cremation service with them and were very pleased with the cleanliness and professional staff. I would definitely recommend them.
