Bill in fish department helped me in meat department very helpful
A little crazy, people rushing around and didn't care if they almost knocked me down. What is their hurry, cashiers cash the customers out with speed and excellent service. In fairness some of the customers are friendly, polite and shop with courtesy.
Be aware of the severe overcrowding due to the other Publix on the island being closed for a renovation. My experience with the staff was great. Any criticism should go to the manager & Publix corporate for putting their workers at risk by chronically understaffing this location. Marco Island police should frequent the parking lot due to the gross parking violations such as parking in a handicapped spot when one clearly does not have a permit. Not to mention the arguments I have seen over parking spaces, double parking, & fire lane obstruction. To the Publix manager: when I was shopping there, the self checkouts were not being used to relieve the long lines. Little things like that can help customers who are not patient & will blow a gasket.
Place was horrible. Carts everywhere in parking lot it was Mario cart. Produce is in entry before you walk in. Madhouse. Not organized and everything is where it shouldn’t be. Was told have a nice when I walked in. DO NOT GO!
Good store on the island but very small and less items than are in other regular sized stores. Most stores are good using the same layout where here it's not the same as others.
