We had a similar experience as the other reviewer, Douglas. We had our entire kitchen and bathroom work done on our house by Lou and then wanted the other parts of the house completed. Although we had estimates, drawings completed, materials selected and a time frame for the work to be done Lou failed to return calls, texts, emails, etc. And this game went on for 6 months. Each time he was in contact with us it was to say that “we were next” on his list. However at the end of it all he sent us an email saying he had problems with other jobs getting backed up and he would not be doing our job now. What? Lou held us in limbo for 6 months which prevented us from finding another person, who could be a true professional. No thank you, I cannot reccomend.
You can expect Lou's customer service to be inversely related to his volume of business. If he's got the time, he'll respond. If he's busy, he'll ignore you. Repeatedly.nLou did decent work for me, but he didn't follow through on several items in which he said he would, even after repeated calls and emails.nNow I have to find someone else to finish the work in my house because Lou can't be bothered with something this small.nThanks Lou.
This company is hands on old-school with all work being done with green certified wood products and finishing products...If you want cabinetry that's well built the first time,on time,this is the place to go...
