HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Kevin Tolman to do your next upholstery project! We inherited two beautiful 40's classic style couches from my wife's family, that originally belonged to her grandparents. It was a rock solid, well built set of couches, but the old fabric was very worn. My wife wanted to preserve these couches to keep in the family, and to preserve the great style, and yet be able to use them in our living room. It was important to find the right person to do the right job. We talked to three upholstery groups. We had to visit the first two, and take pictures of the couches, and provide the dimensions, to get the cost estimates. The first estimate was extremely high, and the second one was less, but still somewhat high. We would also need to take the couches to their locations for the work. We called Kevin Tolman, from an ad that my wife saw. He came to our home the next day, checked out our couches, and brought us some material samples to look at. He gave us a bid that was VERY REASONABLE, and much lower than the first two bids that we got. And, he would also pick up our couches, reupholster them, and deliver them back to us. Kevin is also very personable, and knowledgeable, and he answered all of our questions that we had. We decided on a beautiful green velvet fabric. Kevin picked up our couches, and then did the work, and delivered them back to us. He did an excellent job, for a very reasonable and fair price, and we were very happy with his work!
