I have tried several of the loaves offered by Bard Bread & Pastry and they have all been hearty, tasty, well-made breads. The breads are all delicious and beautifully-presented. Matt the baker has obviously put in a lot of time, study and practice into perfecting his art. I look forward to many more tasty treats from Bard.
Each variety of Bard Bread we have sampled is so delicious, it is hard to pick a favorite. The ingredients are the very best quality and each loaf is so substantial - it seems like two loaves! All our friends who have tasted this bread love it, and can’t wait to get more.
Bread as art. I have yet to have something less than amazing from Bard Bread. Pastries and cookies to good old pre-sliced sandwich loaf.nNot to mention the solid local focused ethics of the purveyors. Tracing grain to loaf and loaf to community. So grateful this bakery is in town.
