I found Sweet P’s Cakes & Confections online due to good reviews. I’ve met Paulette to make a custom 3- tier cake for my baby shower. She was friendly and opened about the date, time, and what I wanted. It was a 2 week in advancement order, and we talked about flavors, and specifics.nnThe reason why I am giving this business a 3 star has nothing to do with communication and error, but more of lack of certain items that could had been included.nnFirst, I wanted 3 simple cake flavors: Red velvet, marble, and chocolate in any order on my 3-tier cake.nSecond, I wanted the colors: gold, dark pink, and white.n(Decorations: to be the same as a picture that I’ve sent Paulette: Gold cake w/ almonds or similar crusted flavor, dark pink cake with no signature in the middle, and white cake w/ edible pearls.)nLast, I did not need the pink flower decorations on the sides, but Paulette suggested it would be handmade and edible as she makes flowers all the time, so I thought that was a good idea and included that in.nnPaulette suggested that my cake being a medium size to serve 60 people, and I said that was a great idea as well, and she also said she would provide the items at additional cost which I’ve agreed to because I wasn’t going to provide my own items and was willing to go over any amount for her providing the decorations, service and time for making and baking and ordering.nnTotal Estimate Cost: $210 plus additional decorations and 60 servings.nnWhen I got my cake, the only part that matched the picture I sent to Paulette was the gold cake. The dark pink cake turned out to be super light pink, and she added one small layer of dark pink frosting as the decoration, and the white cake had fake pearls that weren’t edible and was a disappointment.nnNote: I later found edible pearls online that would take less than a week to make or ordered and it was under $8.00 but I don’t know why that wasn’t included in my white cake as I had to take the fake accessories out of the cake before serving.nnMany of my friends and families were 50/50 on liking and not liking the cake due to taste but overall, the cake was delivered at an earlier time than my arrangement, which I had to fixate my schedule for and it still worked with both of our times.nnTotal Cost After Delivery: $220 with fake accessories and 20 servings at the most.nn⭐⭐⭐⭐nCommunicationnn⭐⭐nCake Decorationsnn⭐⭐⭐nTaste of the cakesnn⭐⭐nCost and providing additional decorationnn⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐nTime and EfficiencynnWould I recommend this to friends and families? Yes, but be on the lookout of specifics need on a cake if you want a 3-tier or more, as I feel I wasn’t provided with the best service of paying for additional cost for decorations that were the most lacking in the cake. Should she not be able to provide for accessories and told me ahead of time, I would had come up with some decorations and not provide fake accessories would I had changed my ratings to a 4/5 stars.nnThanks for reading.

On short notice, Paulette fit my order in her busy weekend. Her website is so helpful and the contact section was so easy to work with. The birthday cake was top notch in taste, texture, and craftsmanship. Everyone wanted to know where I got the cake from. I will be putting an order in for at least four more birthdays this year.

Best decision we made! The cake looked beautiful and the taste was better than we'd hoped for. She did an amazing job all our wedding guests agree. :) the top layer was a yellow cake with raspberry filling. Middle cake was red velvet with cream cheese. Bottom cake was chocolate with peanut butter filling. Thank you!

This is, by far, the BEST cake baker/decorator I have found in Sheboygan. I ordered a cake for my Husband’s Birthday, for 20 people and everyone raved about it. Not a crumb left! I highly recommend Sweet P’s.... you won’t be disappointed! And she is a lovely person to deal with. And reasonable prices. Perfection
