I always love going to eat at Perkins! I've never had a bad meal there. Even when it's busy, we typically don't have too long of a wait. The staff always seems to be in good spirits. I've not had an issue with customer service there! The coffee isn't bad, either, and I'm picky about my coffee! I love the California Avacado Benedict the most, it's super delicious.
I was there the afternoon of 07/25. I hadn’t been there since March. The food was great and very well prepared. My compliments to the cook. Unfortunately, one of the best ways to spoil a good meal is getting treated in a disrespectful manner. The waiter kept addressing me as “bud”. I don’t know who this guy was. I often went to Perkins for the Friday fish special and I also used to take my family and extended family there for a meal, when we were all up at the cabin I don’t think I’ll be doing that in the future. What will I be called in front of my grandkids, next time? “pal”? “dude”? amigo?. I was taken aback, as the waiter appeared old enough to know better. Getting upset while you eat is not healthy. For that reason, I’m out.
This was a nice place for breakfast. I did get the full Eggs Benedict but for those who want there is a one egg 55 Plus Egg Benedict for those who want. We asked and they nicely placed is in a corner socially distanced from other diners.
Food was okay, but I give it 5 stars because the service was the best!!
Very good soup & super friendly waitress.
