Best baked goods on the west coast of Wisconsin! This is a must stop if you're in Maiden Rock!

Wow! Our 1st visit to Smiling Pelican Bakery on a fall leaf drive this past Saturday & we will definitely be returning, It's a small quaint little bakery with a nice coveted front porch, it was raining so we weren't able to view the garden area but it looked cute & nicely groomed. The aroma of fresh baked bread/baked goods was so enticing before we even entered! The cookies are large & very well priced & homemade delicious! We didn't purchase any bread but it looked & smelled amazing. Also purchased a muffin & that too was reasonably priced, homemade & very good!nWe got there early & didn't have to wait to long, but by the time we left the line was already out the door & I can see why! Worth the trip.

Quality is exceptional. Wish we could have gotten there earlier for a better selection of bread. Can’t wait to swing through again on our way to the Twin Cities.
