David M. Allen MD

My family and I have been going to Dr. Allen for years.. but as of today I will NEVER set foot in his office again. I visited him today for a growing skin problem that I've fought for a while now hoping he can give me answers. When he came in my room I got the feeling he was just not in a good mood. He started asking me questions about my symptoms. As I began describing them he snaps that he already diagnosed me 5 years ago and the diagnosis hasn't changed. First of all.. I was 15 at the time of this "diagnosis". I don't remember anything from that appointment other than what he gave me didn't really help. Long story short.. he spent maybe 3 minutes in my room with me... snapped at me for not remembering the details of an appointment 5 years ago..and left the room with me having more questions than answers. Why would I want to go to a doctor that makes me feel like I'm stupid and I'm inconveniencing him? I will never be coming back and will be calling to cancel my follow up appointment. UPDATE: The medication he put me on for my "problem" has made the problem twice as bad..and not only that.. but I have broken out in acne all over my body and it is so painful. I wish he would have taken the time to listen to my problems FULLY before jumping to conclusions. Now my problem is twice as bad and I am fighting another skin problem didn't have in the first place.

Is this place still in business? I’ve been in to see Dr. Traintor on two separate occasions over the past year. And my son has been in several times as well. But I’ve been trying to get them to return a call for a follow up appointment for going in 2 months. They never call back, AND they never answer the phone anytime I call, no matter what time of day. Now the voicemail machine no longer picks up either?! Did they block my number? Are there any other dermatologists in Ogden?!
