I am a very regular to this bakery! Just love the breads, would say best in WI in what I had so far!nThis Sunday, I just came 8 mins late due to traffic and tried to ask the personnel in the store to help, she just pointed out at store timings even without opening door from distance!it felt very awkward and rude ! I had to head back with lots dissatisfaction and had to drive up to white fish bay branch which was almost 5 mike's from this and back to home would be extra 8 miles ! Just a suggestion being in downtown and being main branch, closing earlier ( 2pm) is not recommended!

Great staff, delish artisan bread
I have been searching for a baker that makes bread that tastes like what I grew up eating. I think I finally found it. It's not exactly the same, I think the yeast is a little different maybe, but it's so close. It seriously brought back memories of my grandparents that I forgot were even there. I even told the gentleman about my heritage and the unlikely chance that his bread would be what I was looking for. I'm eating my words. I can't believe I'm ranting about bread, but wow.
Outstanding breads at a really great price point. Always have tasted very fresh. They have a style of a sort of more baked outer layer, that isn't hard, and just perfectly chewy. Not sure what that's called or a better way to describe it, but it's really great, and you should try them if you haven't.
