Stopped by today and I am so glad that I did! They have an assortment of cakes and flavors. They even allow you to try samples, all individually wrapped and equally delicious. The staff on site were very friendly and incredibly helpful. I appreciated their help and how nice they were. I ended up doing the 3/$10 deal and was super pleased! They pair really well with coffee too! I’ll definitely be back and recommend it to anyone who comes by the shop! You won’t be disappointed!
This bakery is great. Stopped by and got 3 different cakes and all were amazing, although my favorite is a 3 way tie between them. They are all so yummy!
I have officially sold my soul to mama bev and I'm completely okay with it. These cakes are INCREDIBLE. They are very rich, so I snack on the individual pieces you can buy but oh my goodness they are so yummy! Also the people here are super polite and sweet.
I ordered 6, there was a special 3 for $10 instead of $4 each. They come in a variety of sizes but I only needed the personal squares. I ordered 2 of the classic, 1 peanut butter, 1 cookie crust, 1 blueberry lemon, and 1 raspberry.nnI enjoyed all of the flavors except for the blueberry... it was mushy and I didn't love the flavor. I gave Mama Bevs 5 stars because it is great. The employee was super helpful.
No frills inside right now but the gooey butter cakes are delicious. They taste very much like those in St. Louis. I appreciate limited packaging, but the cake slices are only wrapped in plastic wrap, which doesn't protect them much. I bought several flavors & they were all thrown together in a plastic bag. By the time I took them out, some were not in good shape. They still tasted good, but I suggest at least adding some type of rigid material.
