I've been going to this location for about 6 years and counting. Every single time I go in, the staff is so kind and patient with customers. Those of us who know what we want and wait behind those that don't and also those of us who get to the counter and suddenly want everything.nnThe ham is perfect. Sliced thin and on their kaiser rolls is a dream.nnDonuts - great variety. Something for everyone.nnPaczki is really good. Order ahead if possible to ensure you're able to get exactly what you want.nnThe Bread - I've had their beer bread, egg bread, white bread, Vienna bread, and the little garlic crouton things...all amazing.nnCakes - I've picked up cakes here in the past for birthdays at work and they are perfectly delightful and available in a pinch the day of. We loved the Vanilla Cake with color sprinkles in the front case. Which I noticed they usually have available from what I can tell.nnI honestly think there is nothing they could have that I wouldn't like.
Everything there is great. The breads are awesome, especially the seeded light rye. The egg bread is great and so is the sourdough bread. The strudels and the pastries are also delicious. The people there are very courteous also.
Best bakery very fresh rolls and liver sausage
The 16th Street one is iffy. Customer service is poor and if you arrive after 11:00, all the good donuts are gone. The Greendale store is wonderful. The staff is helpful and they always seem to have enough of everything, regardless of the time of day.
Always the best in treats and sweets, along with the regular food. Great ham and rolls! Yum! Always a great place to shop for all sorts of food! Love it! Always coming back!
