They to charge a $94 diagnosis charge plus $50 cash only deposit when I already had the diagnosis of what was wrong and was looking for a quote to replace the power supply, couldn't even provide how much they would charge to replace the power supply or how much the power supply would cost without first bringing them the tv and paying the $94 diagnosis charge plus $50 cash only deposit. Also stated he wasn't even sure if they could order the power supply for that tv. So you are asking me to pay $144 to determine if you can even order a part? What a bunch of crooks!
We recently had a newer tv stop functioning on us, and as it was warranty the manufacturer set us up thru Modern TV for its repair. They diagnosed the issue, as luck would have it the part came in the next day; and the tv was quickly repaired and ready to go. So a fast turnaround and great customer service.
The people here have gone above and beyond for us. They replaced a USB plug for us and explained the risks first, then went ahead and worked to fix it. They did it efficiently and promptly contacted us when it was finished.
Very intelligent people and thorough. I definitely recommend this place
The lady on the phone was very friendly and able to provide the info I needed to know about cost of bringing a TV in for repair. I was told they charge $94 plus tax to look at the TV. They'll call and tell you what's wrong and if you want it fixed they apply the charge to the final bill. If you don't want it fixed the keep the full $94 plus tax. Still too expensive if you end up not wanting it fixed or it unrepairable.
