I had a great experience at Hi Fi House. Russell was extremely helpful. He guided me picking out a turntable and receiver as a gift for my girlfriend. He is very knowledgeable and went over all the options available. He even went above and beyond by finding a box and helping me pack it safely for transport and gift wrapping. Amazing store and amazing guy! Go there!

HiFi Haus was top notch experience. Russell was very knowledgeable and patient. As a first time buyer of a turntable, he explained the pros and cons of new vs vintage, varying price points, how to use the equipment, and even how to clean a record. I felt confident in my purchase. We will surely be enjoying our turntable for years to come and I know we can call Russell any time with questions.

Had a great time here shopping for my first home stereo set-up! Tons of cool new and vintage options. Russel was great about letting me test out any of the products I was potentially interested in, and helpful in determining where best to spend my money and still remain in my set budget. Russel was also great about recommending certain products, but was not pushy about trying to upsell something just for the sake of it costing more. Its clear that he has a passion for audio equipment, and trying to get the customer the best possible gear for their needs!nnI will certainly be coming back in the future for any potential upgrades or repairs, and would recommend to anyone looking for some quality home audio.

Russell is a helluva guy...kind, patient and SUPER thorough. He did great work on my 70s Rega turntable; it's never looked or sounded better. Very reasonable and flexible when giving options for repair/service; he'll make sure you get exactly what you need, offer options you didn't know you had, but also won't push you to spring for costly extras you may not want (or can't afford). Very good at making the best out of whatever budget you're working with.nnIf it's buying gear that you're interested in, he has a concise collection of great equipment always available, ranging from budget/entry level to high-end/audiophile.nnThe current appointment-only shopping is definitely worth it. If you're looking to buy a turntable/receiver/speakers--he has a nice space with the ability to audition pieces, in order to find what you like, and allows you his full attention while you're there. If you're in for repairs, he can walk you through what needs to be done and what your options are.nnBottom line: HiFi Haus is the place to go, and the shop Madison desperately needed. Thanks Russell!
