Sunshine Spa massage

I don’t want to harm a small business but I feel like I have to share with you all what I experienced. No I don’t usually get massages so this was somewhat of a treat for me. I was really looking forward to feeling relaxed and having some stress taken off of me. However when I walked in I instantly felt nervous. The entire lobby is dark without any sort of decorations, making it feel like a very cold and unwelcoming place. The only thing they have is a whiteboard with the prices written on it. now, that’s obviously not what’s important, the level of service is what’s important. However, I was just as disappointed with the service as I was with the ambience. Never once was I asked if I have any specific area of pain, any history of any medical condition, or any surgeries that they should be aware about. I know that this is something that’s relevant when it comes to massage therapy. In addition, and I don’t want to come across like this would bother me in any other situation, but my masseuse couldn’t speak English so I couldn’t communicate with her what I needed. About every 10 minutes she would start yelling at her colleague from my massage room as she was massaging me, therefore not creating a very relaxing environment. She would leave the room unexpectedly yelling outside and then come back in a few minutes later. I also noticed that throughout the entire massage she was holding onto her cell phone and either texting or doing something else. As a young woman who is barely wearing any clothes, this made me incredibly uncomfortable. She also asked me multiple times to take off my “bottoms“ because I refused to remove my underwear. Never have I ever experienced someone pressuring me and making me feel uncomfortable like that in a professional setting. Might I add, when she would unexpectedly walk out of the room she would leave the door open where I was lying on my stomach with my entire body exposed to whoever would want to walk by. They only except cash, and I’m assuming there is a reason for that. And before I left she looked at me and said “what, no tip?“ Needless to say, I won’t be returning anytime soon, or ever again.

My shoulder and back was so tight. the massage therapists working here are professional and nice. they do good massage therapy, I felt so relaxed and much better after two times Deep tissue massage.

For whats its worth best place around the yoyo special is great

I hurt my back doing yard work and couldn't get in to my regular therapist. Found Sunshine Spa online and the hours are great, 9 am to 10 pm 7 days a week. The only negative was that you need to have cash, they don't accept checks and don't have a card reader. The massage was amazing!!! I had UU do my massage and she is a powerhouse. I loved her technique. Felt much better after I left! I would definitely go back.
