This place is incredible.nnIf you are looking on google maps right now because you are trying to find a place to eat or to pick up a few things for the road- do yourself a favor, just come here.nnHigh quality. Fantastic selection. Artisan. Clean. And the owners care deeply for their customers.nnI moved to the area from Philadelphia and I hit the jackpot to have this place so close in a rural area.nnI’m not joking, I really did. And it’s not just because the food is great, you can find that anywhere.nnThe big thing is the owners care about the people who shop in the store, and where they get their products from. There is a community effort that is woven into the fabric of this place.nnThere is a massive effort to maintain a high standard.nnSo not only are you supporting a local business, but when you shop here you are supporting local farmers, breweries, cheese makers, etc.nnThe Butcher and Pantry is a hub that extends into the multitudes of crafts people that are in Vermont.nnSo, shopping here- yes you will get fantastic food and local products. But you will also be supporting what makes Vermont- Vermont.

Small town charm with big town selection. The Brownsville Butcher has a great selection of goods to make meals with. Rare pastas, sauces, spices that made me feel like I was in an Italian market in NYC paired with a great selection of local meets, fresh produce and dairy you come to expect in VT. The cafe serves up some tasty sandwiches, my first pick is the Pastrami sandwich which reminded me of one of my favorite NYC delis. 5 stars for sure, a nice mix of goods to make a great meal and the staff seems to know what they sell if you need any suggestions.nnCheck it out, I think you’ll dig it. I just hope they can open a shop closer to Killington soon!

Visited Vermont this past week. We stayed in a little cabin five minutes from this gem. We purchased their fresh filet and shrimp it was amazing! Next day we tried their hot fried chicken sandwich and it was simply delicious! The day we were leaving, we stopped for a pumpkin latte and a unbelievable egg sandwich on the freshest brioche bun! The staff was friendly and helpful. They have a nice selection of IPA’s, Ale’s and wine! This place is amazing, a must try when your in Vermont ✌ufe0f

I live in the Springfield Vermont area and drove by this place the other day. Wow what a gem! I wish I had discovered this place sooner. It was your beautiful sign that lured me in and the food was just as amazing! Great job!
