This Walgreens pharmacy at waterfront plaza is a rediculious place to pick up your scripts. To have to deal with the pharmacy is a joke and and they need to go to school to learn how to treat a customer along with learn how to run a computer. Numerous times over they have messed up on not only things I’ve picked up but also things other people have picked up for either themselves or others. They are rude and inconsiderate of others and think they stand above the rest. The current pharmacist needs to be fired for the way she speaks to customers that have gone there for years before it switched to Walgreens. This place don’t deserve a one star rating and as a matter of fact they would get a -5 star rating. Not only would you get a text message saying your script is ready but you would have to stand there and wait for it to be filled even when you go there the day after or even two days later. Please please please DO NOT use this place if you don’t have to. Choose Walmart or Kinny Drugs because all this place does now I’d give you the run around and treat you like your a POS. I will never ever choose Walgreens to do my business with ever again and so glad that they just currently took over the store because Walmart or Kinnys will be getting my business. Also, if the price in the store says 1 item for $5 or 2 of the same item for $8.99 shouldn’t they be able to sell you two of that item? Not this store. They are penny pinching selfish human beings here and will double dip you on half your script so you have to pay a deductible twice for two halves of your script. Non the less DO NOT GIVE THIS WALGREENS YOUR BUSINESS IF YOU HAVE THE CHOICE!!!

I should start by saying I used this pharmacy prior to the conversion my entire life. My mother used R.A. For us as children. I continued as an adult for my family as well. I never, ever had 1 issue. As soon as the pharmacy transitioned to Walgreens, the problems began. Not only do they have problems keeping medications stocked, but I I always have a delay in my medications. I can call it in 2 days before and have to wait 20 minutes for it to be filled when I go pick it up. They also do not carry certain prescriptions so my son has not had 1 since they took over. Aside from the pain of partial prescriptions, or none, on a daily medication, they also treat you like you are the problem. Every single time I would bring to attention an issue I was met with hostility and rude behavior. At first I tried to give the benefit of the doubt because it was new and I figured they would have kinks to work out. Not anymore. I’ve made the choice to switch my entire family to another local pharmacy. The manager is very nice and try’s really hard to smooth my ruffled feathers each time I complain. He has given me gift cards to try and pacify me in the past. Unfortunately today I was discriminated against by the head pharmacist and that’s where I draw the line. She made assumptions and rude accusations based solely on the fact I am an addict in recovery. Had she taken the time to treat me like a human being and talk to me the store wouldn’t have lost a 5 person family as customers. Nor would she have made someone feel like gum beneath her shoe. I have spent years and years being treated badly because I'm an addict and I will not stand for it anymore. I shouldn’t have to. There is a difference between being cautious with an addict in recovery and outright abuse because they have drug abuse history. Everyone has the right to be treated with respect and dignity. I would have to write pages and pages to truly share the extent of mistreatment I’ve received but I will just put it simply, do not use this pharmacy for regular medications. Addict or not. If you need to pick up biweekly or monthly it will be constant issues that half the time they will blame on the insurance company. It is so bad every time I talk to my physician they ASK ME if everything is going ok with Walgreens. Please save yourself the stress and your time and use Kinneys or Walmart. I wish they never took over my local pharmacy!! Maybe if you only have to fill a medication once in a blue moon you can use them.
