This place is great and shouldn’t be overlooked. The sandwiches were solid and mastered the ever-important art of making sure each bite had filling and none were just a bite of bread. Good selection to pick from as well. The oatmeal whoopie pie was FANTASTIC. The wait was minimal and there were two spots to eat at outside.
I’m torn; this was my first visit here and I ordered a rueben. The staff was super friendly, service was prompt and my sandwich was tasty. So why torn? Well, although tasty my sandwich was kinda small and I was disappointed to learn that although this is a hot sandwich, they don’t grill the rueben. That may explain why some of it was hot and some cold - which adds a bit of an odd experience to a rueben. Their pastrami rueben has serious potential. I’d live to see it slightly larger, a bit more kraut, and grilled.
Breakfast burrito was better than expected. Not greasy at all. Tasted healthier than expected. The store was on the crowded side, but everyone was wearing masks. Without the crowd, it probably would have been faster.
Great beer and VT products. ordered a sandwich that was supposed to be in a wrap, but ended up on white bread, which got soggy fast. That was a bit disappointing.
Wonderful store that could use business, they have a deli and sandwiches and a lot of good Vermont products. Corona probably has them down on business. Stop in it's clean and really a wonderful stop if you are in the area.
