I have loved this place my whole life. My go-tos are the donuts (I swear you can taste the lard- yum) and sandwiches (delicious bread and they never skimp on deli meat). However, I would get in and out before 12pm if possible. After that time it seems like all the adults go home and the teen inmates are running the asylum. It’s a bizarre vibe...they are never assertive, but often rude.
Fantastic subs and amazing apple crisp bars, wish we had bought more to bring home! Great friendly service and really good prices. A true country deli and just a real gem. We will definitely return on our next trip up.
Place has great baked goods, good sandwiches, pizza, some fried foods, a deli, wraps, and soft serve in the summer. Decent prices and owner/operators are good folks. They even held my (then) 2 year old while I grabbed some more stuff. Only complaint is that occasionally there is inconsistency in the to-order sandwiches where I'll sometimes get a bread with nothing but a layer in it, but to be fair I've seen a lot of things implemented to prevent just that and over the past 6 months it seems that is an issue of the past.
Lots of great sandwiches and wraps! A huge variety pre-made every day so it's quick and easy to grab and go or have them toast one and go. Also good pizza, desserts, side dishes. Etc. Highly recommend!
Love this place, but Dean the owner needs to keep on his mask! They also let the place get too busy inside. Too many tourists means that this could easily be a place of transmission. Please do a better job during the pandemic. Otherwise, excellent food!!
