Recently, had an amazing and refreshing interaction with Andrea at the pro desk. She was incredibly helpful, found everything I needed for my order, communicated via phone and email in a very timely manner, and even found a way to move up my delivery date. I was very impressed!

I was able to look up what I wanted and was directed to the aisle and section thereof in which to find it. I was able to self checkout and was in and out of the store in no time. My project was completed that much quicker by not having to search for what I wanted. Overall, the experience was a positive one.

John, the plumbing pro was SUPER helpful over the phone. Even though the website said the items I was looking for were available for in-store pick up, I still wanted to double check before driving from Stowe. I got a return call with in 5 minutes. Purchased new flooring with installation to go throughout my entire house. The customer service was horrific. Started with the call of “oops” we under charged you and you really owe and extra $850 in labor we forgot. Then they delivered a pallet of product and dumped it in my driveway when I wasn’t home with no advanced notice or an installation even scheduled. Had also specifically said I could not take delivery before a certain date and it was a week before that. They never returned calls and it’s virtually impossible to speak with the manager. After well over a month of no updates on my install, multiple unreturned calls and product sitting at my house, I found my own installer and cancelled Lowe’s for the install. They didn’t care about the loss of sale or lack of service. I definitely recommend going local to a small business. I was able to call a local installer on a Friday, he started that Monday and did a fantastic job with no hassle and The labor didn’t cost me anymore than it would have through Lowe’s. Will never use Lowe’s again for large home improvement projects.

0 stars for the Pro Services. 2 stars in general, staff is unlikely to help with store layout with a few exceptions. Over the last few years I have been spending $1,000s on home repairs and started working with the pro services department in Essex. Rey stopped responding to my emails months ago, my orders were delayed and some were never delivered. Still fighting with the store to reimburse me for a $600 garage door that was never delivered and turns out they don't have any in inventory anymore. There are few hardware stores around that sell the quantity of supplies so that is why they get a couple stars.
