Myer's Bagel Bakery

Excellent Montreal style bagels. Crisp, thinner, and the big hole in the middle. I had the onion bagel with gravlax, and it was super. Love the tomato in it and the crispy onions. Great consistency. Crunchy. Not too much cream cheese, and perfect locks. Friendly service, chill parking lot benches.

BEST BAGELS IN VERMONT. Coming from a Montreal family.

We enjoyed the bagels here, they are not boiled but still very good. Coffee was great, generous with the cream cheese, I'd go back if given the chance. Of the 5 bagel places we tried, this was our 3rd favorite.

Myer's always makes great sandwiches with delicious flavor combos. However they're not my favorite style of bagel - too small and dense for me. These are more on the pretzel-side than bagel-side. They also don't age well. By the next day they will be rocks. I prefer chewy, New York city style bagels. Not to say that Myer's is bad, I go there on occasion. Though they are not my first choice to get a bagel in Burlington.

I was super disappointed at how tasteless and small the bagels were. The chorizo in the Conquistador was really good, even if the bagel it was on was dull. The turkey in the Champ was really dry and tasteless, and the everything bagel lacked any flavor at all. The staff member that I ordered on the phone with was a little abrasive, and the staff at the pickup window were a bit spacey and didn't seem to know what was going on. Maybe I caught them at a bad time? I cannot fathom why their rating is so high otherwise. I'm so dissatisfied that I would not bother giving them another try anyway. Burlington Bagel Bakery was leagues better, so I'll stick with them.
