10/10nnThe sandwiches are out of this world. It is no surprise that this place was recommended to us by quite a few people.nnDid not get a chance to try their baked goods, apart from the bread in sandwiches.nnTried the Eat the east, their cumin sauce/curry is delicious. Definitely the crowning jewel of the place in my opinion.nThe avocado toast was splendid; we loved it.nnTheir avocado sandwich was also quite good; I am not a fan of olives so it was not for me but definitely good.nnThe only dish that disappointed me was their chickpeas and herb bowl but I did like their vinaigrette dressing.nnI definitely recommend going for breakfast over lunch.nnAbsolute joy!
I liked that they had plenty of outdoor seating. They were busy so there’s a wait to order and another wait to get your food. A bit unimpressed by their sandwich. $15 for a sandwich on a small baguette. The ingredients were fresh at least, I just wish the sandwich was bigger. They have one vegan sandwich on the menu. They accept cards at least. The bread was good at least, but I wouldn’t come back.
Hi. First of all, let me tell you that overall, I enjoy your baked goods as well as your baguettes. I’ve been coming here over the years to partake in them, but, my fave - the chocolate croissant is typically a hit-and-miss. Especially compared to what I’ve tried overseas.nnOver the last couple years what I have found to be consistent in your store is the lack of exemplary Customer Service. Case point: I was in today and upon ordering my food, the blonde hair girl working the register without saying anything besides the total amount due, flipped the pad around for me to pay - and of course the first thing I’m prompted to do is offer in a tip - for what? Upon bagging my food she handed it to me, didn’t say anything and I had to ask about my tea I ordered. She informed me it would be on the side and I waited.nnIn a few minutes, the tea was ready and a different girl, in a loud voice yelled “black tea” and set it on the counter. I had to assume it was mine as the register girl didn’t take my name so I took it without receiving any other wording from her – no. “Here you go” or “thank you very much.”nnI even purposely sat inside near the register to see how other customers were treated and observed similar behavior.nnIn this day and age of where the in-store experience is key and integral (not just the food) to obtaining and retaining a flow of $ paying customers, I’m sorry but your business is totally lacking there and I am committing myself to not come back here any longer for the year. Maybe I’ll be back in 2021 to dip my toes back in your water.nnI really want to see you succeed and hope to take a minimal amount of effort to improve the overall customer service in order to bolster and strengthen your long-term bottom line.
One of the best sandwiches I've ever had! The Vermonter is simple, yet complex with the apricot/tomato jam on the bread. Great blueberry muffin! Had to take a few muffins for the road because they were so good. Great atmosphere with dividers all over the restaurant for COVID safety!
Absolutely love this place! The design is very unique. It almost looks like it used to be an auto shop before they moved in. Their maple biscuits are amazing with their homemade jam and cabot butter. Their hot chocolate and cappuccino comes with plenty of foam, and their breads are amazingly fresh in the morning! Must try the chicken caprese sandwich!
