It was in need for a little TLC after years of playing, and within a few days, I had my guitar back and playing better than ever. Micah has an attention to detail that is unmatched in the area. I had a very specific vision for my signature model that Micah and I had talked about. Even though I had don a ton of research on what I wanted there were still some uncertainties that Micah was able to help me overcome. When I had gotten my guitar from Micah it was absolutely stunning and I haven’t been able to put it down. It gets its debut on September 13 and that day can’t come soon enough. 14/10 would recommend.

Just wanted to heartily recommend Plante Guitar Co. in Bristol to any guitar enthusiasts who might need help with their instruments. I called Micah, who runs the shop, for an appointment after a string snapped on the first guitar I'd gotten to play since 4th grade. It was a Goodwill find and an impulse purchase that has brought me so much joy in the past year. That said, I knew it wasn't a valuable instrument, and had some issues with buzzy strings, so I was worried someone would look at me like I was kooky for trying to keep it in working order, or tell me that anything they could do would cost more than I paid for the instrument.nNot only did he help me by replacing the single string with a spare he had around the shop so I could play short-term, he also gave me suggestions as to what strings to purchase when I could get a full set, shared information generously about the structures that affect the sound quality of a guitar, and kindly took time to successfully troubleshoot the funny buzz that perplexed both of us, all for a completely reasonable price.nHe helped with a smile on his face, and not just patience but a teachers-heart openness to my questions, enthusiasm, and curiosity. I left feeling encouraged, grateful, and way more confident and hopeful about the lovely, slightly janky instrument that's been my doorway back to making music. Can't say thanks enough!
