Absolutely not! I recently moved back to the area and wanted to purchase my hardwood flooring from a local business. This decision has turned into a disaster. My hardwoods were never acclimated prior to install. They sat in the back of the company box truck for an unknown period of time. Then 3/4 of the material sat in my garage over a period of time before they were installed. The temp a outside was in the 90’s so I’m guessing the temps in the back of the truck had to be in the 100’s. Not knowing at the time they needed to be acclimated and this would be a major issue later on. The linoleum was never removed prior to the install and leveling was used over the linoleum. I have dents in the floor from where they dropped the nail gun, a hump leading from my hallway into my dining area, boards were never nailed or glued in areas so now the boards move. Portions of the floors were forced in areas which are now buckling, threshold pieces are not covering intended spaces, cracked board, gaps and more. I had the floors inspected by professionals and was told because the floors were never acclimated inside my residence in time they will buckle. I was also told you never put hardwood over linoleum nor should you use leveling because walking on the area over time the nails will break loose, moisture barrier was placed in areas and it’s not recommended under hardwood. The owner Aaron did inspect all my concerns and stated he would fix the issues by cutting out the hump ( what a patch job ugh) and piece in boards and replace the trim on my sliding doors that was damaged. He also said he would fix the thresholds. I told him that doesn’t resolve the main problem which was the floors were never acclimated for three to fours days in my home. Nor was the sub flooring prepped properly by removing the linoleum. Needless to say I’m now having to pay nearly three times the amount to correct all the damage. Now I have to pay to removed all newly installed floors, remove linoleum that I initially agreed to pay for as stated on my contract. Oh and I have to replace casing because when the linoleum is removed the gap between the floor and casing will be larger. Then I will call to have my neutral colored sofa cleaned because a worker used it to help himself off the floor. I can’t forget about having to pay again for the painter. ud83dude21 No I do not and will not recommend this company to install hardwood. I hope that the owner Aaron will do the right thing and refund me. I’m in a disability retirement and funds are low making it difficult financially to hire someone to correct all the wrong/damage Sharon K Flooring has caused. This review was deleted so I’m adding it again to inform the public.

They’ve now done the carpeting for 2 rooms in my house; the 1st in August & then the 2nd room a couple of weeks ago (which really speaks for itself that I even called them again for another job). I chose to wait a couple weeks before leaving a review because I’m skeptical by nature & wanted to be sure 1st that no issues w/ the rug would come up that I may have initially missed... nothing did. I have no complaints. They were very efficient & pricing was fair. This 2nd time around was a last minute sort of thing & they were great w/ working around my short notice; my carpet was installed w/in 2 days of calling them. The reason I was replacing it was because the previous owners hadn’t taken the best care of that particular room & it reeked of dog urine. I was hoping it was only the rug, but unfortunately once they removed it, it was apparent that the urine had seeped to some areas of the floor underneath. They gave me recommendations on what to do, & rather than making me reschedule the installation for another day, gave me a few hours to remedy it, & then returned that same day to finish the job. My biggest surprise was probably that they called a few days later to check how everything was/make sure there were no problems. I would recommend them to others & will call them again in the future if the need arises

I wish I could rate them much higher than 5 stars! Professional, hard working, detail oriented and quick! Our floors look amazing! They were sure to leave the house clean after each day! Thank you Pat, Rubin and Brian for an impeccable job! Highly recommend!

On time, professional, nice work and keeps things neat during & after work each day. You can’t say all this about a lot of contractors nowadays.

Pat did an amazing job on our living room floor. Will definitely be coming back to them for future work.
