Incredible history of sacrifice
This place is beautiful. My father is buried here and I couldn't be happier. The grounds are immaculate. Its quiet and very serene. My family and I visited on Oct. 3 2020 my father's 64th bday. An awesome resting place.
This is an interesting and historical site. The Union and Confederate monuments were impressive. There are also interesting gravesites of German WW2 and American soldiers from various periods. The interpretive signs were detailed and interesting, as well.
Intimate civil war confederate prisoner cemetery, German, WWII POWs that died at Fort Dix and a crime spree murder in 1997. The one lane road leading to it is completely unassuming, but the HISTORY is well worth a quiet stroll to reflect and wonder why this place isn't more popular.
Visiting Finns Point National Cemetery offers a solemn experience. Visitors can see monuments dedicated to the memory of soldiers from the U.S.A. and C.S.A.
