Carol Cole Salon and Spa

Today was my first time at the salon. I was scheduled for a lash lift and tint. It was my very first time ever doing anything with my lashes so I was very excited to be at Carol Cole salon and spa. The salon itself looks fabulous! It’s clean, modern, and extremely beautiful! Dahlia was phenomenal, she did an excellent job! I can not wait to tell everyone who did my Lash lift! The only negative thing I need to address is the receptionist. She was cold, uninviting and I felt scolded when I arrived because I didn’t see the hand sanitizing station that was off to the right, out of view when first entering the salon. (There should also have been hand sanitizer on the reception desk) I was hoping that when checking out, I’d have a better experience with the receptionist but I didn’t. She was still cold to me. I wasn’t asked if I’d like to schedule any additional appointments, I wasn’t asked how my experience was, I asked for a gratuity envelope and she gave me one but it was almost as if she felt like I was asking too much. It was disappointing. I don’t live in the area so I drove a distance to come there. If I decide to return, I hope for a better experience.

I wanted to post a follow up review to my first review to let clients know just how above and beyond the salon is! This was my 2nd visit to Carol Cole Salon and Spa. My first visit was about 6ish weeks ago. i had a lash lift and tint done, it was amazing! I had never seen my natural lashes look so great! While i had a great experience, the only downside to my visit was the receptionist. Following my visit, i received a personal phone call from the owner herself. She apologized for how I felt, was appreciative of the feedback, and offered to make it right. A week or so after her phone call, I even had an apology card sent in the mail from the receptionist herself. It was very nice. Fast forward to today's visit and it was, again, everything. I had a different lash tech this time, Grace, but she did just as job of a job as the last lash tech! She was friendly, conversational, and the service flew by! There was a different receptionist today and she was great as well. She was friendly and polite! She asked if Id like to reschedule for an additional service and while i declined, (so i can make an appointment that fits my schedule) i was appreciative of her asking. 10/10 - would highly recommend!

Vikki is a color magician. She can take any color hair and transform it into the color it is supposed to be and somehow make it look totally natural! My daughter has brown hair and I have dark blonde hair and we both LOVE our results. And she cuts my hair beautifully, to boot!

Hi I would just like to share My experience at Carol Coles salon, I have visited the salon several times in two months. I had an awesome experience getting my eyelash extensions done by Dahlia, She is a very sweet, compassionate and professional Young Lady. Her passion for her work is so evident. I am considered a senior, but her music Iist is relaxing and goes well with your experience at the beautiful salon. Highly recommendnCarol H.

I liked this Salon at first when I went there late 2018. The stylist seemed nice, actually cut my hair just as I asked, and did a nice even job all around. Even fixed a blunder from a stylist before her from another salon that cut a part of my hair unevenly, and she noticed and verified it. I was pretty happy with the results. Fast forward to 2019, some months later, and I go to the same stylist and ask for the exact same cut. When I get home, it's cut evenly, but she added a round shape to my blunt cut when I specifically asked for no round shape added. I was slightly disappointed... it was so close to what I wanted, but not quite. So I ask for a different stylist the next time I go there, who had many years of experience under her belt and specialized in curly hair, with high hopes for a good outcome, and like I always do right before a cut, I tell them specifically what I want and don't want. I don't think she really listened to me at all, because when she was done and allowed me to put my glasses on to see what she had done, I was shocked to see my hair had been cut in layers when I had asked for none at all. Flustered, I politely pointed out it wasn't what I asked for. She tried to fix it, but too much had been taken off, more than I had wanted. I paid and left completely dismayed. I went somewhere else to fix what felt a little longer in the front than the back, but that also got messed up, ending up shorter in the front than what I wanted. I finally found another stylist that fixed it better.nnOut of all the haircuts I've had in my life, I've had my fair share of cuts that when done, were nowhere near what I ask for, for some strange reason. I feel it's either a failure on the stylists part to really listen to their client before the cut, or some stylists just feel they know better than the client and do what they want, thinking the client will like it better than what they actually asked for. I don't know for sure, but it's a strong guess. I always ask for a blunt cut, all one length, even, no layers, no round shape, no angle in the front. I don't know how that can get totally twisted into layers, and a style of layers I'd never even seen done before in my hair. It's hard for a shy, introverted person such as myself to speak up and really be heard and taken seriously it seems, and I pay the price in the end when things like this happen.nnI really liked my first experience at this salon, but it quickly went downhill with each visit. I regret I have to write this review, though a bit belated, but it was just such a disappointing experience in the end. At least they seemed nice and friendly enough, but ultimately I'm there for a good cut I'll be happy with, which wasn't delivered.
