Mustard Seed Massage

I took my mom on vacation. We enjoyed a full day at the Museum of the Bible. Afterwards we did a lot of walking to explore DC. I found Mustard Seed online and called in to make an appointment. I expressed that my mom would only be comfortable with a female masseuse and a male for myself. The staff accommodated me we're extremely friendly and my mom and I had the best massages ever. This place, the atmosphere and the people are stellar. I would recommend anybody who is traveling in the DC area to enjoy a day at Mustard Seed massage it is the best thing you can do for yourself after a day at the Museum. Five star

I got a hot stone massage recently as a birthday gift to myself. The massage was wonderful and all of the staff including my masseuse Brenda were very professional! I will definitely be coming back. Thank you!

I loved this place. Super chill vibe and I had the fortunate pleasure of receiving a massage from Nicole. I'm and big guy 6' 230 that still competes athletically. I've had a neck herniation and chiropractic deep deep tissue work for spinal realignment for many yrs. So I know good work. She was phenomenal and my head is over my neck in one treatment. Her energy is off the charts. My mind is clear and my heart is rejuvenated . My friend got a massage from another masseuse and said his was fantastic too. Man... what else is possible?

Last weekend I booked two massages with Mustard Seed to celebrate a friend's birthday. My friend has back problems and regularly receives massages without pain, however it requires her masseuse to be mindful of focusing on the areas that she specifies, and at the pressure she specifies - she asked her masseuse at Mustard Seed to adjust their pressure and area three times, to be ignored each time. After fifteen minutes, she was in enough pain that she ended her massage.nnI have no back problems, and completed my massage, but did feel a few moments of pain throughout my massage, especially when my masseuse applied a lot of pressure along my spine. The pain was not enough to make me end my massage, and most of the massage was quite pleasant. However the next day I had bruises along my back, and two days after the massage my neck was in such pain that I couldn't fully move my head in any direction.nnOf the two masseuses we encountered here, I would imagine they simply need more training. My masseuse and the check in staff were respectful and considerate, however we would not return here, and I would recommend looking elsewhere for your own massage. While we both left with temporary pain, I am concerned that others may leave with more serious pain.

After work I wanted a relaxing massage. I get a lot of neck pain so I get a monthly massage. My usual place I go to was unfortunately booked. I forgot to book a few days before like I usually do. I came across Mustard Seed and I thought it was perfect since it’s around the corner from my house. The staff was very pleasant but the massage was a little painful. Considering I booked a Swedish massage I had to ask for less pressure but it was still painful throughout the massage.
