I like this location because its easy to get to. They have great breakfast and its always hot and fresh. I sadly do not recommend the french toast which is their newest item. It is a little on the dry side. Next time I'll go for their pancakes. Otherwise this location is nice and quiet and relaxing. Don't be afraid to stop by and enjoy the atmosphere.

Very fancy brunch restaurant. I went after my physical exam and I renewed my Metro ID at WMATA Accessibility center for late brunch.

Went to pick up a few desserts and was given a really small bag.YES- This review is based on a small bag that could have been avoided but the employee decided to have an attitude and not care! First off the cashier was in her own world she was just standing there when the line behind me was growing long. Middle of lunch hour you can’t afford to be day dreaming. She doesn’t seem apologetic neither greets. I place my order and she packs them up in a small brown bag. The bag is so small she had to put them in side ways so the entire thing is turned upside down/sideways in the container. The icing is stuck to the container. What is the point in packing it in a container if you are going to tilt the package and pack it? I ask her to give me a bigger bag and she proceeds to tell me that I was being rude? At no point during the transaction was I given the option to pay for the bag & get a bigger bag instead she starts yelling at me for asking for a bigger bag? The manager also doesn’t say much to her. She really needs to be trained in providing better customer service. It’s not like I was asking for a free bag or free anything I was paying my own money to get the desserts and the bag. The least you can do is provide customer service.

This cafe has wonderful food, a positive and friendly staff, and a clean inviting atmosphere which collectively allows for the perfect place to have a stress free meal and plan your day.nnMy friend and I kept coming back. First day I had their pancake plate with bacon and eggs and the next I had one of their power flats which coupled with a side of oatmeal is the perfectly sized breakfast.nnPrices are very good for the food you get. I felt that the quality was on par with or better than some of the more expensive locations I've eaten.nnDefinitely recommend if you're nearby.

Especially for a bakery, the bread tasted bland. Just sliced bread like the preservative stuff you'd find at a supermarket.nnThe bacon was dry and similarly bland. The sauce on my sandwich wasn't noticeable.nnThe staff were zoned out and when I inquired about omitting an ingredient that would cause me allergies, the cashier failed to understand me but added it to my order anyway. Thank goodness I picked up on what was going on.nnI inquired about using the restroom before collecting my food - I still ended up having to return to ask for a code, then a busser was wandering around looking for me - the cashier didn't bother explaining the situation to him.nnAt my table, the cashier reached through my personal space in front of my face, to grab away a table number. I was again interrupted later for an inquiry about taking my plate away. Please just leave me alone and wait until I've left to carry out all of these logistics. It's not like there was any urgency, the place wasn't even half full.nnIt wasn't clear that I'd be paying for potato crisps to accompany the sandwich, or that they'd be served to me still in their plastic bag, but placed on my sanitary plate, touching my food.
