Pearl's Bagels

Great. I don’t think it’s the best bagel shop in all of DC but it might be your brand. You have the option of toasting your bagel. The sandwich’s are delicious. We drove across the city for it which was a good idea but I wouldn’t do that every weekend. If you’re looking to change it up or you’re in the area I’d say this is a phenomenal bagel shop worth a try.

This place is solid. Bagels were great. Services was quick even given being pretty busy. Good job on managing COVID risk. Even the coffee was good.

We went to Pearl's the first weekend it opened, and we're so happy to finally have great bagels nearby. I can't imagine it's easy to open retail dining in the middle of a pandemic, and the Pearl's team did an excellent job filling orders for pickup.nnWe got a Bacon Egg & Cheese Box and a couple coffees. The sandwiches (pictured below) were easy to make and, more importantly, downright delicious. Coffee was excellent too. We've been back several times since, and we're excited to have such tasty bagels in the neighborhood.

Pearl's Bagels is the newest kid on D.C.'s bagel block and already making waves. After just a few weeks since opening, they have lines that may rival that of Call Your Mother.nnIt's a small bagel shop near the Convention Center in Mt. Vernon Triangle. There are a few seats inside, but during the pandemic, they are doing safe pick-up only. To be honest, the process isn't as seamless as it could be. I ordered online and went to pick it up at the said time. Since there was no organized line, I stood there waiting for the person behind the table to see me. He kept calling on everyone around me including people who showed up after me. Finally, I got his attention and got my bagels (already a little cold).nnDespite the hiccups in the process, the bagels were very good. My friend ordered the everything bagel with the jalapeno cheese spread. I had a sesame seed bagel with strawberry cream cheese. Both were as promised- crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. A very good bagel!nnI'll be back for sure for more great bagels!

*COVID REVIEW*nnAbsolutely delicious bagels that can be purchased individually or by the half-dozen or dozen as a grab bag. Their sesame bagel in particular was fabulous. Extremely safe pandemic handoff system too. Can't wait to come back.
