Be prepared to fill out a ream of paperwork worst than joining the Army.nnIf you get one speeding ticket with these guys, you'll be terminated and your DAC will state why. If you're late twice, $50 fine. Three times, $100 fine. Four times, $200. Amazing the arrogance of trucking companies in regard to their main but all too expendable resource. Hence, the endless ads they continue to run.nnThey don't get you home every week exactly. Was told 5-8 days. You will have to run Jersey and New York and Chicago.nnYou're not allowed to bobtail without special permission from the Director of Operations!nnBe prepared to be a little chihuahua on a leash.nnIf you so much as fart in one of their trucks, you'll probably be fined.

I've been here now going on 4 years. I was professionally trained here and been treated with respect. 2 years ago I wanted to see what else was out there and went to another company for 3 months and I was welcomed back. The equipment is top notch and well maintained and whenever there is a problem, help is on the way after a phone call. I've seen drivers with other companies at the fuel desk asking them to scan their fuel cards one more time only to have it declined for the fifth time. Not with Comstar, you are given the tools to succeed and the resources to back it up. Is this company a perfect fit for everyone? Probably not. To the wreckless, careless, lazy driver, please pass us by. But to the driver looking to work safe, succeed, be diligent and carry a good work ethic? Please give us a try. You will be pleased with what you find. Newer equipment, prepass, tolls and scales paid. Never an out of pocket expense and payroll is 100% on time. Never a worry there. In summary, I love it here and have no intention of going anywhere else.
